Terms of Service
Booboot — operated by Tatumtech, Sabah, Malaysia Last updated 27 September 2026
These Terms of Service are an agreement between you and Tatumtech ("Booboot", "we", "us") for your use of the Booboot app and website. By creating an account or using Booboot, you agree to these Terms and to our Privacy Policy. If you don't agree, please don't use Booboot.
1. What Booboot is
Booboot is an online marketplace. It lets people who need something delivered ("requesters") post delivery jobs, and lets independent couriers find, accept and complete those jobs.
Booboot is not a delivery or transport company, and couriers are not our employees or agents. When a requester and a courier agree on a job, the delivery arrangement is between the two of them. We provide the platform that connects them.
2. Who can use Booboot
You must be at least 18 years old and able to enter into a legally binding agreement.
You must give true, current information about yourself, and use only one account. Accounts are personal and may not be sold, shared or transferred.
Every user must sign up with a working email address and phone number of their own. We check the identity of every courier (by IC) before they can accept jobs, and we may ask any user to verify their identity. We may refuse or cancel any account at our discretion, for example if we cannot confirm who you are.
Our identity check confirms who a person is — nothing more. It is not a check of a courier's driving record, vehicle, licences or insurance.
3. Your account
Keep your login details private. You are responsible for everything done through your account. Tell us straight away at the email below if you think someone else has used it.
4. For requesters
Describe each job honestly: what the item is, its size, pickup and drop-off points, and any special handling it needs.
Make sure the item is legal to send, is not on the prohibited list in Section 6, and is packed well enough to travel safely.
Be available (or have someone available) at pickup and drop-off, and pay the courier the agreed price once the job is done.
5. For couriers
Couriers use Booboot as independent contractors under the Courier Service Agreement, which forms part of these Terms. If the two ever disagree, the Courier Service Agreement applies.
Couriers are solely responsible for holding every licence, road tax, insurance, permit and other document the law requires for their vehicle and their delivery work, and for obeying all road and transport laws.
A courier may refuse any item they believe is unsafe, illegal or not as described.
6. Prohibited items
You must not use Booboot to send or carry: illegal drugs or controlled substances; weapons, ammunition, explosives or fireworks; flammable, toxic or other dangerous goods; stolen goods or counterfeit products; live animals; human remains or body parts; anything else that is illegal to own or transport in Malaysia, or that needs a permit you don't have.
Anyone who breaks this rule will have their account deactivated, and we may report the matter to the authorities.
7. Prices and payment
The price of each job is agreed between the requester and the courier — either the price posted by the requester, or a price negotiated in the app chat.
The requester pays the courier directly, for example by cash, DuitNow or bank transfer. Booboot does not collect, hold, or guarantee this payment, and does not charge requesters a commission or booking fee.
Couriers pay Booboot a subscription to use the platform, as set out in the Courier Service Agreement.
8. Loss, damage and delays
Booboot is not an insurer, and does not take responsibility for items being carried. Any loss, damage or delay during a delivery is a matter between the requester and the courier.
If something goes wrong, use the Report option in the job chat. We will look into reports and may suspend accounts, but we are not required to pay for or replace lost or damaged items. For valuable items, consider arranging your own insurance.
9. How you must behave
Treat everyone on Booboot with respect. Do not harass, threaten, abuse, discriminate against, or defraud anyone.
Do not send offensive, sexual or violent messages, photos or voice notes, or anything that breaks the law.
Use other people's personal details (like names, phone numbers and addresses) only to complete the job they relate to.
Do not try to get around the platform's safety features, misuse another person's account, or interfere with how Booboot works.
You can report or block anyone you've had a job with, from the job chat. Blocked people are never matched with you again.
10. Ratings and your content
Ratings must be honest and based on a real job. Do not offer or ask for a rating in exchange for anything.
You own the messages, photos and other content you add to Booboot. You give us permission to store, display and use that content only as needed to run the platform, handle reports and keep users safe.
11. Suspension and deactivation
We may suspend or deactivate an account that breaks these Terms, puts other people at risk, is used for fraud, or harms Booboot's reputation. Where practical, we will tell you why.
12. Leaving Booboot
You can stop using Booboot at any time. To delete your account and personal information, use "Delete my account" in your Profile, or visit app.booboot.asia/delete-account. Deletion is explained in our Privacy Policy.
13. Limits on our responsibility
Booboot is provided "as is". We work to keep it running well, but we do not promise it will always be available or free of errors.
To the fullest extent the law allows, Tatumtech is not liable for the acts or omissions of requesters or couriers, for items lost or damaged in delivery, for payments between users, or for any indirect or consequential loss arising from your use of Booboot.
Nothing in these Terms removes any right you have under Malaysian law that cannot legally be excluded, including under the Consumer Protection Act 1999.
14. Law that applies
These Terms are governed by the laws of Malaysia, and disputes about them will be dealt with by the courts of Malaysia.
15. Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. The date at the top shows the latest version. If a change is important, we will let you know in the app. Continuing to use Booboot after a change means you accept the updated Terms.
